This frame is part of my SECONDS SALE! This means there is slight damage to the frame or to the moth, all pieces in the seconds sale are final sale so please examine the photos closely. Tattering of wings is normal in natural death moths and does not count as damage.

Hand Raised! This moth may show some light tatters and rips, this is because they are hand raised by me and preserved after natural death. Some tattering is normal, it just shows their full life :)

Actias luna aka the American Luna Moth. Native to the Southern US up the East Coast these moths use their hind wing tails as a way to evade predators! The tails twist around in flight and disturb the air, disrupting the echolocation of bats!
